The colour of the iris is wonderful but the background is distracting. More impact would be achieved if the background was blurred to the point of looking like a watercolour (unrecognizable).

I like the leading line here but the perspective feels wrong. It might be because the horizon is needed for this image.

The lines of the quilt lead to the main subject. The lighting is too flat though. Something is needed to ad sparkle to the irises.

Nice effect created with the backlight. Exposure seems good. The only thing I might of tried would be to include more in the foreground.
