Even though the stem is obviously vertical I keep wanting to look at this image sideways. By rotating 90 degrees clockwise will make your caterpillar look more like he's looking straight at the camera.

Well done. 7

Great capture. A little closer crop to emphasize this guy would put this one over the top.

Dew On Bean Leaf

The diagonal line of the center of the leaf and the dew drops make this image interesting. The graininess of the image is a bit distracting. This may have worked in B & W.

Exposure looks good here. Another composition option would be to try this vertical to capture the full hat and beard.

This image looks like a comparison between the baren soil and a well used shovel. Adding more space on the right could probably provide more impact.

Lovely contrast and the vine leads the viewer right in to the image to the greying gate.

Very interesting image. The sharp water droplets nicely contrast with the out of focus ones. The plant poking in at the left is a bit distracting though. By taking that out the impact would most likely increase. - 8

Well captured. Good stop action. Don't a hummingbird's wings beat at a trillion miles a second? The green leaf on the left is a bit distracting. Cropping it out would make the bird more prominent within the frame.

Well captured. The focus may be just a little off though. An increase in DOF would help with this. With these kind of shots apperture priority (Av) mode might help.

This gives a nice tranquille, inviting and cosy feel. Losing some of the trees on the right would probably increase this effect. All that's needed is a side table with an overturned paperback and a jug of something cold.
