Will You Be My...by GIS_boyComment: This is a good idea though I think slightly more dof is needed to show more detail in the woman in the background. |

light and starby magueroComment: The objects are nicely arranged within the frame however the OOF flame which seems to be blown out is quite distracting. It is the brightest part of the image where the eye is generally drawn. |

Candlelight, a Slinky®, and Thou by NordlysComment: Interesting idea. The objects, candle, slinky and shadow, are nicely position within the frame. The colour is very calming though the flame appears to be blown out.

Mauriceby jduffettComment: Maurice is very cute. You and the million others visiting the park must be feeding him.
If you're quick, there are a few chipmunks there as well. Message edited by author 2005-12-09 22:50:41. |

Hard Timesby jeroweComment: *** Critique Club ***
Composition is dynamic due to the juxtaposition of the bottle and the bill however I feel there is a conflict between these two items. My eye is drawn to the bill since it is the brightest part of the image but am drawn to the bottle since it is the object that is in focus. This may have worked better with the bill in focus and the bottles just slightly out of focus.
Explosure seems right though with true white and black.
Keep shooting.

odd stem in fourby focus57Comment: I think you were robbed on this one. At the very least it should have ended up mid to high 5s.
Keep shooting out of the box. (and this really wasn't that far out) |
