I like this version of a bible shot...the magnifying glass is an excellent touch as is including the binding. Centering works well in this instance, nice job.

Excellent interpretation of the theme, I like the blur of the water. I'm not entirely sure that keeping the color in the flowers was the way to go in this shot. I guess I'd have to see the full B&W version in order to judge the benefit of keeping some color in the shot.

Wonderful lighting, the highlights on their faces really add a sense of depth to the image. Great interpretation of the theme as well.

I'm not precisely sure how this image ties in with Grace, but I'll assume you have a reason and not let it affect my voting. The background is really pulling my focus away from the statues. If possible, try to get rid of anything that could possibly clutter the background with high contrast objects. This not only detracts from the subject but brings the background into play when looking at an image. If it is impossible to get rid of the background clutter, creating a shallow depth of field (via larger aperture) can blur the background a bit, minimizing the backgrounds impact.

I hope this helps,

Wonderful composition and use of negative space. The statue looks a bit dark on my monitor (yes I calibrated it to the scale below) but I think that adds to the feeling of this image. I really like this shot.

Wow, absolutely gorgeous! Fantastic contrast between the head of the swan and the water. The reflection is perfect and I like seeing just a hint of the shoreline. I can't say enough about this shot, it's pretty much perfect...and matches the challenge to a "T". Excellent work!

Wow, what a great image. I am assuming this is infrared? I really like the contrast and composition of the right 3/4 of this image. The trail draws my eye to the left side of the image and there's really nothing there...I feel that this image could benefit from having the left 1/4 cropped off. Overall I really like this shot....it's great.

I hope this helps,

Nice shot of the sunset. It seems like the landscape is a bit soft for an image like this. If it were sharper with a bit more contrast I feel it would be a much nicer image.

Let me preface this by saying that I am not a religious person.

That being said, this image is absolutely on theme 100%, excellent work.

I really like the composition in this shot, from the bowl to the baby to the wet baptisim hands...great work.

Black and white is the perfect choice, with the slight toning taking the edge off the straight b&w's harshness.

Beautiful work, top 3 in my book.

I see where you were going with the "grace" in this image. I think the background has as much of a presence as the subject. This image would have much more impact if you were to get closer, keeping the background to a minimum. I do have to say that the woodpile adds a bit of interest to the image.

I hope this helps,
