"True Grit"by naomikComment: Nice shot and processing. I would like it better if he wasn't facing out of the picture, but the eyes going inwards really helps resolve that a lot. |

Chute Outby CitadelComment: Very nicely composed and exposed in a split second shot situation. I just wish the main subject would have stood out more from the background, but that's hard to do. Good orientation to the location with the sign. Maybe some selective brightening in PP, but it may look unnatural that way. |

Spirit Goes Onby APComment: Good tribute shot. I'm trying to figure out the details. Is this supposed to be a spirit in a campfire (which would explain the sharp white sparks and soft focus and colored cowboy)? It looks like the cowboy had the sun behind him. I'm wondering how you achieved the lighting. You did a good job. |

A Cowboy's Worst Adversary by TomComment: Nice catch. Coyotes are difficult to catch not running away from you. Good framing and DOF. Maybe a bit of a stretch for the challenge but good selection if you didn't have any cowboys or saddles. |

Journey's End, Don't Look Back CowBoy.by JulietNNComment: There is a mysterious story here. Why is he holding a revolver? What is the dust? Where is he? I suspect this was shot at a wild west reenactment of some sort and this is just part of the scene. |

At Day's End by LydiaComment: Great shot nicely composed. I love how the inside of the barn/stable makes such a nice frame. One little nit-pick is that I'd like to see less negative space frame to get more detail on the subject. Maybe a bit overexposed on the background. Underexposing in camera or PP wouldn't really hurt the silhouetted subject. |
