I have to give you one comment at least. This picture has potential, but IMHO there is too much level ground in the front and the building doesn't have enough definition. I think if you got closer to the building it would be better. Also if you increased the contrast it would make it more interesting and more like an AA picture.

Bummer about the lack of comments. This does not have an AA look to it. The ground takes too little of the frame and does not really have much of interest in it. The bright sun overpowers this shot, and I don't know if that's a sun dog on the right, but it looks like lots of lens flare. I think if you had taken it at sunrise/sunset it would have been better, but of course then you wouldn't have the sun dog, and according to the title that was the main reason for the shot.
[eta] Looking at where you live (Winnipeg) I see why it looks like where I was born and raised. You're about 100 miles from my home.

Following up on your forum post about your biggest challenge disappointment. Maybe my notebook monitor isn't displaying this properly, because nobody said this previously, but to me it looks far too dark on the land and too light in the sky. It looks to me like a grad ND filter or bracketing and tone mapping would really help it. Also the horizon looks tilted to me, but it's hard to tell with these landscapes that may be slopes.

PAW - Beautiful bird. I don't know if I've seen any like it before, definitely not in flight. You got a great angle on it, but the postprocessing could use some more sharpening and/or contrast to bring out the detail.

PAW - great timing with the pigeon looking right at you and the wings appearing to be tucked in. You have quite an elaborate setup for this. Well done on the black background. Yes, Ann's tutorial is great. I hope to use it some day when I get more flashes and learn to use them better.

PAW - Beautiful shot. The wide format works well here. I don't think it would have scored that well in the AA challenge mainly due to the darkness overall. Maybe the brightness and contrast could have been brought up to compensate. It's difficult to do that when taking sunrise/sunset pictures.
