Tribute to Gaurawa's Surface Tension by 4trtoneComment: Nicer coloring than the original with the CD under it, but it's missing the great pattern of rings around the paper clips the original had, demonstrating surface tension. What are the bubbles about? It looks like they clips aren't floating like the original but just sitting on the CD. Nice sharp image. |

Metatate's "Iron Butterfly"by HaneckComment: I guess it's a dead butterfly like the original making it easy to get the butterfly on the same spot as the original. Good job even though the iron, steam and butterfly positioning aren't quite the same. |

The New iBook. Now with Dual Core.by h2Comment: Good emulation. Like I commented on the original, I'd like to see smaller font and wrapped text rather than cut-off, but to emulate it I guess you had to do this. You did a better job on the edges. |

E L E V E Nby libertyComment: Simple but nice composition. I like it in B/W. Very close to the original, but I don't think I can vote for 20% or more if I look up each original. |

Liberty and Justice Revisitedby ryandComment: I tried to duplicate this one, but gave up after getting nowhere near nailing it. Excellent job! And you got the flag right side up and clearer stars than the original. |

Homage to Hughletherenby brownsmComment: Good one. Deja Vu of a Deja Vu winner. Much better than the same one I tried to do , but ran out of time. Good job on the disected drop. Did you follow the same steps as hughletheren? I was trying to wing it handheld on the dropper. It would have been good to hide the platform the 2nd glass is on and to try to reduce the reflection on the table top. |
