Life is a Balance Between the Light and the Darkness, by onarComment: Really nice sunset scene. I don't know how there can be a sunset at night, so it's probably a dark awning above the scene or something. The line is a bit curved up and down. The line on the left border is sort of strange, so cropping a few pixels may have helped it. Looks like a sensor spot abive the boat. Good challenge interpretation. |

desktop-shot.jpgby SunnieeComment: Yes, lovely. This looks like a great day. Was this a helicoptor tour? My wife and I stayed a week at Aston Wailea and took a boat to go snorkeling at Molokini, but it was too choppy that day so we snorkeled off south Maui instead. That was the day after a horrible "bike ride down Haleakala" where my wife hurt her shin badly falling on lava and the rain poured all the way down. |

untitledby whiterookComment: I supposed I should have guessed you did this, Stephen, since the lighthouse looks a little like a white rook. If the meaning is not obvious, as it wasn't here, I'd recommend putting in a title that would explain it, something like "Priceless for a Ship's Captain". Also, I notice that some of your pictures seem to have a soft focus look. Looking at the page for the DiMAGE 7 and others of yours there are many sharp pictures. It may be due to insufficient light but I'd recommend you make sure your optics are nice and clean, and maybe do some postprocessing color and sharpness adjustment, but not as much as your Windy and Cloudy Day that showed halo effect. |

He's Safeby psartComment: I'm not sure where the still life here is, but you have the motion. |

Grapes of Wrathby robaComment: I hope this didn't take too many attempts. Excellent timing. Good composition. There are a couple of white spots in upper right that probably could have been cloned out, or are those glass shards? |

Salt & Pepperby glad2badadComment: There is supposed to be movement, but here the whole picture appears to be moving because the stationary objects aren't sharp. Maybe it's the natural lighting that is insufficient. |

Oops!by JPRComment: I don't understand what point is being made. Is he falling across the table full of glasses? The details are too small to figure out what the guy is doing. |
