Famishedby libertyComment: I love this shot. Excellent close composition and expression. She doesn't physically look famished, but more of a model, though it does bring the emotion and point across. |

America The Beautiful: Fall Foliage Arrivesby bs-photosComment: Very lovely fall scene with good thirds composition on the water and hilltop. I'd like to see the whole hillside illuminated in sunlight. With the layer of clouds showing that may not have been possible. |

Only the memories remain by BradComment: This is a great shot. The picture frame of the burned doorway with the burning outside and burned inside of the home makes this one of the best and probably the riskiest picture of the challenge. How on earth did you get this? I have an entry, and I'm not voting, but I would rate this highest of the challenge that I've seen so far. And to think I was only a couple of miles from this. |

"There is safety here" by MilesWComment: I didn't see this one before, but it's excellent! I love the sharpness and apparant emotion of the monkeys. Very deserving of a ribbon. |

Stalkingby PhotoJeffComment: Maybe it's high key, but it looks too washed out for me. It loses the detail. |

Day Dreamerby silverhawkComment: Nice picture except for the bridge in the background and the water outlet under the beak. A slightly different vantage point would have been nice. |

...but Seymour, you're not one of us...by srdanzComment: It would have been great if you could have gotten a bird nose to nose with the rubber duckie. Maybe if you could have moved down near the ground and left it would have appeared the small bird was talking to the duck. |
