This is way, way, out there for a DPC challenge entry. I'm not exactly sure what this is. It looks like what the title suggests. Then again, perhaps the title leads me to see things that aren't there. Provocative.

I've seen this photo - and versions of it - so many times that it becomes tiresome. I'm not going to vote this image at all because I would just give it a 5. This may be the greatest "butterfly and flower" shot of all time and I wouldn't know.

I'm not sure why I picked this shot out of 500 to give this particular comment to. I appreciate your efforts. Try harder.

At the very least, you'll have a comment on your picture. We all like getting comments. Perhaps I've given you some insight into my thought processes that are helpful. Perhaps you'll think I'm just an idiot (and perhaps I am) and ignore my comment.

But...when you see you have a comment, and you see that its this one, you'll at least remember it.

Great shot. My first reaction was stronger than my second however. I think this would be more appealing if you eliminated the folds in her shirt completely so it was all either bodies or blackness. When I squint its a 9. Otherwise its a 7.

Odd juxtaposition. I'm not sure what I'm looking at. Perhaps a tidal bay of some sort? The pieces don't seem to fit naturally.

I've got mixed feelings about the person being there. I think you did a good job of establishing scale without her - and unless I can better see her facial expression (which is very difficult due to the scale)she is almost a distraction.
