She almost disappears in the picture. I very much like it, although IMHO I think a tighter crop (eliminating the rocks at left) would give this more impact.

Very creative idea and I like the distortion from the heat but I think I'd prefer the horizon on the bottom third instead of the top third. Very nice as it is.

Wow...this is a sad picture. What sort of a filter did you use? The middle third (from the boy to the rock) looks darker. A GND with the darkest edge on the boy?
