I think cropping some off the bottom and cropping in all around would have benefited this overall image. Almost so the top of the trash can filled most of the bottom of the frame. Great idea - very cute pup!

I really love your dog - I wish there was eye contact and unfortunately there is a big hot spot on the side of her face and then a heavy shadow on the left side of her body. That being said, we have a golden puppy ourself - and I wouldn't have attempted a non-action portrait shot! She just won't sit still for that long and if I tired her out she'd have laid there on her back with her tongue hanging out :-) LOL So, what I am saying is - hats off to you!!
