This shot is sheer genius, masterfully thought out, wonderfully composed, terrific set up, and beautifully executed.

Phantomby IvoryComment: Hey Sue, while this is a wonderful photograph, with great DOF and the selective desaturation is fantastic, I like the Lady in Waiting shot for your Masks entry better.  I think the natural colour of her hair and her beautiful green eyes shine and are an integral part of the photo. Not to mention her skin tones are almost the same as the mask and blend the photograph to perfection. You have a fantastic eye and a wonderful talent for photography. I look forward to meeting you and your husband I'm sure the meeting will further my love for photography. All the best with this shot.

IMG_3655_;argeedit-copy_fil.jpgby I Enjoy HamComment: I like the concept that you were going for but I think you fell a little short. IMHO you should have used more light and then driven the contrast up to boost the red wine and we would see more of the ripples on the water.
Lighting direct in a light box with some base colour would have brought the image to life.
Still a great attempt at this shot.
