Temperanceby RKTComment: Looks like a frame straight out of a 1930's film noir! Very nicely done, and a creative twist on this challenge. |

creating spaceby saintaugustComment: I like the perspective and composition a lot, but that frame just about ruins the image for me. It's not even symmetric, it's thicker at the bottom. Also, if you have Photoshop, I think you could have pulled more detail out of the ceiling on the left with the Adjust-->Shadows & Highlights command. |

Modernby BrianRComment: Very good use of color contrast and good composition, but the postprocessing looks a bit sloppy (jagged edges and halos around the roofs). |

A Roseby KatmystiryComment: A very nice photo, shows there's much more to a rose than just the flower. The mottled light on the leaves is beautiful and the just out-of-focus flower works very well. The color saturation is great, and I assume the yellowish tint is deliberate (adding a feeling of warmth). |

Securityby TrynityRoseComment: Very nice candid! I'm guessing there was a distracting background which you blackened out. That sure worked for this shot (check out some of zeuszen's work for more of that style). Now I'm getting inspired to go through some of my rejects looking for hidden gems that could be brought out this way... |

Tea Pickerby JohnBeebeComment: Makes me pause as I sit here in my nice house sipping the Assam tea that was picked by someone much like her. Wonderful color. I like the shallow DOF, but I would have cropped a bit off the bottom. I'd also prefer her looking towards the camera. But all said and done, a very good portrait. |

Heartby LeeDComment: Excellent concept, certainly one of the more original nudes I've seen! The dots of light (jewelry?) add interest, but make me wonder if the image were even better without them, with just the heart and her eyes as the two poles to attract the viewers eyes. The skin texture is also a bit noisy, did you try any selective blurring? But anyway, don't mind my nit-picks, this is a fabulous photo! |
