Bronco Powerby TwigComment: Nice colors and reflections. Good composition - just don't think subject is very interesting. The litle background that's showing is also uninteresting. |

Grounded Powerby elizadebComment: Don't like the blue-ish hue. Good job trying to preserve some detail in the shadows, but unfortunately they are still dark. |

F-22 Raptor by StrikeslipComment: Tremendous. Absolutely nothing negative to comment - a very unique approach. I believe the distortion is from the hot air coming out of the exhaust. Perfect framing, color saturation, everything. Meets challenge perfectly. 10 from me. |

P O W E R A N G Eby emilarabComment: Conceptually interesting, but could have been better executed. It takes a while to figure out what's going on, and the insertion point of the neon in the orange is not convincing. Could have used a backlight on the orange for more definition. Overall underexposed as well. |

Loomingby shalrathComment: Here I just like the non-conventional view point for an ultra-photographed target. Of course, it wouldn't have worked as well without the dramatic sky - good job in post-processing. |

The Moatby shalrathComment: This is a case where the IR really works wonders. On some of the other images on your trip, not so much (IMO) but here it's perfect. Love the mood that it creates in the photo, together with the remnants from another era. Contrast also is spot on - more contrast would have ruined the "feel" of the image. |

and so she waits.by nostalgicComment: Overall impression: a very good image.
I like the composition quite a bit. The diagonal of the shore helps bring attention to the subject.
Very good colors in the sky and excellent contrast with the sea. Only problem with exposure / colors is that the legs of the subject get lost in the dark lower part of the image. I would have liked to see more detail / definition in the stones, which have quite a dramatic texture.
Don't understand the cleaver in the hand at all. If it's meant to convey a message it's kind of lost on me, sorry :) Fortunately it's small enough that it doesn't seriously affect the shot.
My score in a "Free Study" for this: 7-8
Final suggestion: thin white line inside the border to better contain the image, this border gets lost in the dark stones. |

Brushes and Snare by wsteynComment: Hey Werner, awesome job! Many many congrats!
Excellent composition, and the sky works perfectly with the smooth sea and the long exposure. Beautiful colors. Overall, a great image! |

The Magic Flute by AlexSaberiComment: Wow - one of the best ideas I've seen so far! Could have been ribbon material, but the subject is so small! It also takes a second to see what the "notes" are. I keep wondering how a crop with only the bottom left quarter of the image would have looked. |

Magical Storiesby elsapoComment: The idea is very good, and the girl very well photographed. It's the lights in the air that are not very convincing, very thin and sharp and rather chaotic. The best part is the warm glow from the book that lights the girl's face. |
