...and we have a picture window, too!by autoolComment: I like the color outside of the window. The shack is great, too. I think there might be a bit too much darkness around the window, though. It creates a huge border, which is quite detracting... although it is better than almost all of the artificial borders in this challenge. Good job. |

(Kids playing) This is a five star hotel Sir, the cost is 20 pesos per night.by diegohsComment: The size of the border is the only thing I didn't like about this shot, but I didn't take off much for it, because the shot is really nice. The color might be a tiny bit too pink, but it works because it's a little girl (I hope that's a girl). Good proportions and feel. Eye direction is a nice circle from the girl, then going left on the rocks, to the roof of the house, and then back again to the girl. Very well done. |

What are you looking at?by deadbirdComment: I like this more than the other one. Great angle. Good color. The background isn't distracting, but gives hints of country. Very well done. |

Watching the sun go down on the farm.by vtruanComment: Excellent color. You can feel the layers of atmosphere. I like this picture a lot. And the windmill is a perfect little shape. I'm not absolutely positive about the proportions. I think I like them. I keep looking at the shot though.. so I must like it. |

... to seek out new (country) life ...by cykhansenComment: I give you bonus points for being able to capture this moment. Excellent. The shot, however, is only a decent shot. Not quite vivid enough. I guess that ties in with the fact that it's a little dark all over... just a touch. |

Pigby giampoComment: I really don't like this border. But I won't take off too much for it. The shot, however, I like very much. It looks so happy. Way to capture the moment. |

When the Pickin's Done by dsidwellComment: A very nice shot. I'm not sure if I like the border. It almost makes it a little too "dreamy." But I won't take off for that. I think the picture would have been stronger without the border though. Aside from that, the shot has a good balance and nice shapes. Good job. |

Country Cliche by Girl from OZComment: In this challenge with so many hideous borders, I was happy to see yours with a natural border. No.. I was ecstatic! The contrast is excellent and the feel of it being a slight bit off-center works horribly well. One of my two favorite in the challenge. |

Dusty Roads by SonifoComment: I wasn't really thrilled with most of the entries in this challenge. But I thought this one was practically postcard. That's a good thing. I like your use of thirds. The body is on the line and the head and feet are right in the sweet spots. Perfect. I also liked the duotone feel of it all. |

Nana....That's Meeeeeee!by GraciousComment: A little soft. Looking off to the right ... at what? I want to see. Perhaps a landscape crop with space to the right... so you're not so crammed in. Good attempt. |
