Comments on the overexposure or blowout in this image seem to be a moot point to me. It is clearly obvious that you had every intention of having this effect in your shot, otherwise it would not have been entered. To vote down on this kind of shot because you think it is blown out (without intention) would be rediculous. It is a perfect shot that goes against the usual advertisment style images that score well on DPC.

Disappointing to see you score low with this Shannon, it deserves more, but I fear that this kind of style will never be appreciated on DPC as it does not fit the mould of advertising look images that often win or at least score well here.

I like the composition of this shot but am not entirely sure I like the blue hue on the normally pure white bird. I can understand that the reflections may have caused it but some adjustments might bring it back a bit.

Perfect choice of title, model, composition, lighting, soft feel, everything. My attention is immediately drawn to her captivating eyes in this pose. Some may comment on the foreground being distracting (as I have seen in past challenges) but to me it adds to the shot. 10
