 Well, I figured this might create a stir. In fact, after I submitted it, I got a panic attack and emailed SC to ask if I could self-dq.

But then I thought - what the heck. I have to shoot for myself first.

Fortunately, most took it in the spirit in which it was intended - good humor. And thank you for all your comments!

For those of you who are scratching your heads and wondering how in the world I would have so many sex toys... I'm a passion consultant and offer sexual aides and advice during in-home parties for women.

For those of you who were mortally offended - please know that I am proud to have been able to help many, many women overcome problems with themselves and in their relationships through the work I do.

And now onward to building better scores! LOL!

Hmmmmm. I don't like seeing a nine year old ask what a bunch of dildos are after seeing them in a challenge photo. And I didn't realize we had DPC members that young. I agree one of the two options should be used: Don't allow minors or pre-teens in DPC, or don't allow these sorts of photos (or somehow make sure the younger set can't see something like this). That's my 2 cents worth. Now tell me... which one of these seems to work best? How much are they? Can I get a job as a passion consultant? How about a photo demo on proper usage?

I thought this was hilarious when I voted, and like it even more knowing that it got so many people's panties all bunched up. 50 sub 4 scores? You should be proud of yourself for having the guts to submit something you believe in!

Alicia, This is cracking me up! I haven't voted in a challenge in quite a while, but I still like to look at the results. And just think, they didn't give you the brown, so you're making "head" way! LOL!

I cannot believe that this was your shot...It made me laugh and laugh. Lovely red hues and a weird range of shapes and sizes...I'd have love to see the workmens faces if you had been photographing this on disruption day!

Cool funny and well executed, I beat you on this challenge but I wont even pretend that had anything to do with the quality of our shots just the reaction that some people will have had to your "scandalous" entry

I would think its an example of why pre-teens shouldn't be allowed on DPC. But thats just me...

I'd rather not leave a comment on a photo depicting what I feel is a rules violation - 'a photograph depicting male or female genitalia'. I've already been around the block with the SC on previous similar photos and they say that a representation is not a depiction: I disagree. So, I'm not going to report it or anything and make it a hassle for you - I doubt they would ask for validation anyway. Photographically, it's a good photo - I believe it's a bad choice of subject matter. I'm sure others will have similar opinions but most will probably think it's funny. The title? 'Get Lucky' - if 'lucky' is self pleasure then I must speak a different language. So your probably wondering why I'm leaving a comment at all - I'll let your imagination figure it out.

Well I rather hate the subject matter (and hope you put it in the nude gallery) but I must say, you did a very artistic job of it. Colors are great and the lighting is pretty good - I even like the blown highlights. Border is a bit too large for my tastes - I think the black definitely shows off the colors nicely but the top and bottom are too large for me.

Choice of subject aside:

- background color sucks and makes your subjects lose definition
- lighting is very poor with numerous hotspots throughout the shot
- atrocious border
- no attempt at any sort of pleasing composition

I find the lighting in this image quite harsh and the the focus seems a tad off. The smudge on the lower left hand side of the image, and the specks on the lower right detract from the overall quality of this image.

Also, considering the reddish hue of the apparatus on display, you might have been better served to use a backdrop of a different colour to accentuate the subject of your image.

I do admire your fortitude for displaying an image of this type, but I do fear that some of the more conservative elements will penalize you with their score.
