You should have cropped some off the top to eliminate the distracting triangle of blown out sky and some of the glare from the windows. Otherwise, it's a nice POV and capture of the delicacy of the flower. I can't decide whether I like the silouhette of the spider or not.

The tree in the background really hurts this. The two buds below the flower don't add much, either. It's a really good capture of the color and translucency of the flower.

It could be a bit more dynamic in tonal range. Although I understand why you titled it this way, because of the rather bland color range, this photo doesn't really suggest fireworks to me. Good subject and the centering works well.

I tried this but wasn't satisfied with my results. :-D I think more of the leaf should be in focus to really capture the interesting texture and color gradiations. This is an awfully stingy crop.

Was this done in camera with a filter? If it was done in PS it seems rather against the spirit of the challenge. Anyone can turn something purple in PS.
Photographically, I'm not sure how much the addition of purple adds to this shot. The brownish don't make a particulalry dynamic background. A closer crop might be more striking.
