| I tried this but wasn't satisfied with my results. :-D I think more of the leaf should be in focus to really capture the interesting texture and color gradiations. This is an awfully stingy crop. |

| The front blur hurts this a lot for me, and that the subject isn't a truly interesting one in my opinion. I do really love the vibrant, rich tones and the detail of the veins. |

| Marked this down a little because of dof - don't likr the main stalk being out of focus. This should be pin sharp to catch the eye. The top of the leaf should also be sharp in order to carry this photo |
