Nice environmental portrait. It really conveys a bit of who this man is.

Very nice use of available light and the paper makes a convenient reflector as well as being a natural part of the composition. I don't understand the title but that doesn't really matter.

Very lovely. There is a dreamy, imaginary quality to this in the way the land seems to be floating in the sky.

Very nice. I can see the downy hairs of a newborn on his forehead. I'm a bit bothered by the cropping at the left of the frame. I realize the idea was to really close in on his face but his chest cropped at this point creates an odd shape that disturbs me.

Very sweet capture. This past May, in Rhode Island, we experienced the tragic loss of Trixie, a beloved polar bear who lived at Roger Williams Park Zoo since 1989 with her partner Norton. They were the parents of two cubs which now reside at other zoos. I remember watching Trixie mother her cubs from web cam images that originated from her den. Later I took tons of photos of her romping and splashing with them in the pools outside their den. This photo evoked very nice memories for me. Thanks for offering it.

This is quite a capture. I can really imagine how fast these guys are moving. I like the POV quite a bit. That guy rolling the tire across the frame really grabs me and conveys the excitement of his job. I like the view just off frame of the other tire guy.

This is nice but I think I would like it better in color. I don't really see the purpose of using black and white for this subject. I'd like to see the warm quality of light in this.

Very nice. It's a bit contrasty in the area of the rocks (I'd like a bit more detail in the shadow areas) but the blur of the water is quite nice. It seems a bit overly white at the pooling point of the waterfall--almost as if that area had been overly burned in--it has an erased appearance to me. Maybe if this were framed so as to leave some space below this pooling point it wouldn't appear as odd as it is to me now.

I don't generally enjoy car photos but I'm kind of liking this. Probably because it seems more of a study of color and form. I like the way the frame is divided into several triangles---evenn the shadow at the lower left of the frame forms a triangle. I hope this was your intent because it shows a good eye for finding pattern in everyday objects (even an expensive sportscar could be everyday in this respect :D) I fear that in this challenge with 800+ entries you aren't going to have a lot of voters taking the time to notice this interesting design aspect. Fortunately, a lot of DPCers do enjoy car photos!

She's very pretty and her skin is luminous. This might just be me but with her hand in that position it looks like she is giving the choking sign. Also, her index finger juts out just below her chin which creates an odd shape to her face.
