You got the outfits right. The quality isn't quite there, IMO. The models' are a bit too close to the background, thus the unappealing shadows. This looks kind of fuzzy to me and washed out to me.

To my recollection, they had Snoopy Sno-Cone makers in the 70's. Anyway, this isn't too great a photo, sadly. It appears very grainy and the lighting lacks any sort of drama or interest. Everything in the arrangement appears flat because of this. It's kind of like an eBay photo...all I can say is keep at it.

Weirdly reminiscent of my recent Abstract 11 photo (of part of my vinyl collection). I think it could be sharper and it is quite a bit blown out in the lights.

It's a great photo but I think of this era of Kiss as the 70's. My recollection of 80's Kiss is when they took off the make-up. Cool photo, though.

Sorry, this just looks like a Halloween make-up job to me. It doesn't feel authentic (this isn't really what 'original' punks looked like). Other than the make-up, there isn't really anything particulalrly 80's feeling to me about this shot.

Edited later...I think what I meant to say is I feel this shot is missing the edge the title,and to some degree, the challenge theme) suggests. In terms of portraiture, it is well done.

This looks like current teen fashion. It looks like her outfit was purchased someplace like Hot Topic. Sorry, I'm not reading the 80's from this. The photo on it's own isn't bad. Her skin is overexposed.

I guess I'm misunderstanding the point of this challenge. My interpretation is to create a photo that captures the feeling of the 80's. While this is well-done and amusing, it reflects the history of a pop culture event of the 80's, the photo itself is not reminiscent of the 80's.It doesn't have an 80's look and that is what I thought the challenge was about. I'm not sure how to vote.
