Eek! I have pretty great skin for my age (38) so this isn't exactly my nightmare (mine always involove losing teeth). This is really well done. Great exposure and excellent image quality. Even though it's a phony set-up, it makes sense and works asthetically outside the challenge. I will be surprised if this doesn't ribbon.

Very nice. Unlike many of the shots with similar subject matter, which have appeared to contrasty to me, this appears to have a good amount of tonal range. I like the way the seedlings stand out sharply against the dark background.

I generally find this to be boring subject matter but this is very well done. I think I would have left a little bit more negative space near the top to allow the flame a bit of breathing room.
