Very effective shot - I like selective desat stuff. I like the colour tones and the subdued red of the roses adds to the mood of the shot.

Would you consider a removing some of the skin blemishes? Or would this be noticed?? And not appreciated.

Perhaps you could blur the background more to keep attention on the subjects.

I agree that there is slight blow out on the door frame, and the area around the top of the cupboard could show a little more detail. Natural lighting I imagine. You should do more work in B/W.

Nice, but the focus is not spot on. I have the same problems with close ups like this - not sure what is going wrong. You don't say what aperture you used - this would be useful to know.

This is a nice shot, but it looks a wee bit over-processed to me - maybe you went a little too far with the levels. Just a matter of taste more than anything else I suppose. If the girls face had been facing into the lens that would have added interest too IMHO.
