Rustby BAMartinComment: Nice textures, ropes and rusted metals make for great B&W photo's. |

Day 10.jpgby codfishComment: Lots of interest. But I think it would be nicer if it was bit sharper. Did you do a levels adjust? This would bring out a wider range of tones and minimize the greyish look. |

Day-10.jpgby ivale28Comment: Nice lines and it is a great contrast of the big fence to the little bird. Nice capture. |

BW - 9by mia67Comment: What an absolutely great series of portraits. Great lighting, great highlights in the hair, nice softness and glow to the skin. I'd love to spend a day(though I'm sure it would take more) with you learning about portraits. Awesome work. |

Day 8.jpgby codfishComment: The soft focus I think is a personal preference. Depending on the type of photo (portrait) look you're going for, you might want the violin in sharp focus and the rest soft. Or mayber her hands sharp and the rest soft or just her face sharp, I think it depends on what you're trying to convey with that particular photo. If it's just a portrait of the person's face, I particularly think they almost always look nice when they're soft. |
