Reality TV Stars (Heidi & Jenna of Survivor 6)by alanfreedComment: Or: Boob-jobs! (Sorry, I had to do it.) I remember someone here did the web site for Jenna - would that be you? As a candid portrait, its good, and it fits the challenge well. Beyond that, there's not much of interest to the shot. The idea is the only thing that really carries it. |

New Family Trend: Feeding Baby (2 months)by KoriyamaComment: Nice photo. Very tastefull and tender. Excellent lighting and composition, and the softness works really nicely. The only problem with it is I'm not sure about it's fit with the topic. I get the implication from the title, and I guess it's close. I'll split the difference on this one. |

Lava!by bot_alphaComment: I tried this for "Round". You did a little better than I was able to. One tip on lessening or eliminating those jaggies at the edge of the lamp: try resizing in steps. Instead of going straight from the full image down to 640x480 (or whatever), resize at about 10% increments. It works great most times. |

The High Lifeby millerComment: Wasn't the idea to use a larger bill, like a 20 or 100, to show your affluence? Anyway, sadly, it works for a trend (I sure hope that power's a prop). I think that, given the "cocain" is supposed to be the trend, the focus would be better on it, or at least with a wider DOF. The bill is definitely very sharp and crisp. Lighting and composition are great. Good job. |

Adaptationby ddsoulComment: Very nice shot. I love the perspective and composition, but most of all the DOF is spot-on. Great job. |

Jade Orbby zerocusaComment: Congratulations! Very nice shot. I like the white background - kind of makes it look like the balls are floating. Great job on the composition too. |

'Round and 'Roundby RiderGalComment: Good subject for the challenge - round within round, within round. Focus is good, B&W works ok. Two things I don't like: The crop is too tight - I get that you were trying to focus in on the main circle, but you got so tight that the surrounding elements - the edge of the bigger arch, the two little arches below - sort of infringe on the shot. Opening out a little would have, IMO, allowed them to be more in context and improved the overall feel. Also (and I realize that you might not have had much choice), but the shadow really detracts. If you could have shot it at a different time, it might have helped that. But a good shot overall. |

At the old marshmallow factory...by tyrkinnComment: A good idea (and great title), but the composition could have been improved greatly by closing in on one or two of the bales, hopefully getting the tractor and maybe the phone poles, if not out of the picture, then at least out of the middle area. Color is good, especially for it being overcast, focus and sharpness are good. Just wish some of the "marshmallows" took over the shot a little. |

Edggyby FayechComment: The tones are weird (for me) on this. I\'m sure it\'s what you wanted, it\'s just not working for me. I also think the yolk should definitely have been more in the focal range, and the edge of the paper towel being blurred keeps bugging me too. But it\'s definitely a good and (so far) unique idea. The composition is great except for whatever\'s going on in the upper right hand corner. Just a couple elements short of being a great picture. |

Classic Carby PaulMdxComment: Nice. No reflection of the photographer, that I can find - excellent! All the technical issues look good, especially the DOF. Great job. |
