Don't worry folks, never touch the stuff.

I can assure you this looks better with the border. I tried to add a little blue to this, but I'm colorblind so I hope it's enough / not too much for you normals. A little spot editing would have been nice, but oh well...

SharQ, hope you like the title. That's what you get for questioning my beer brand loyalty. ;)

Hehe, 6 one's! I guess some people didn't like the subject?? I expected a little of that. *slowly raises middle finger in their direction* Seems it's more their problem than mine...

Thanks for the comments everyone. I didn't realize how wealthy all you DPCers are. Some of us don't have $100 bills just lying around the house. ;) If I did, I would have used it. But I see your point. The people I know who use this stuff don't care how they get it, whether it's from a dollar bill, straw, hollowed out tire iron... whatever.

I took a few shots with the stuff cut into lines, but they don't look nearly as good. I think this makes the statement a little clearer, as well.

Very provocative. Congrats on a great shot. I like the muted color and the slight reflection of the coke is great.

You're not a banker in NY by any chance, are you? Great shot.

Shouldn't that be a higher denomination bill?
07/28/2003 07:51:52 PM
I'm sure it is more than a dollar!

May not be a publically approved image, but I think your tones in this image as well as the simple layout make a powerful statement. A $100 bill would have been nice :-) 8 -danny

This is....trendy for some people. I like how you got it when someone was sniffing...or blowing, one or the other. Its good. - 8

I would have use a 100$ bill to make it more evocative, but still a nice one.

A fantastic pic full of contrast and detail. I would have prefered to have seen the powder in stripes. This is good tho and one of my choices for the top three places in the challenge this week - 10.

I would have liked to see the money with it's color. It still is nice looking in b/w though. Very good quality and layout.

I like it, and this is truley nit picking... the "coke" should have been a little less, and "cut" iinto a straight line.... it just looks like there is a bit too much to be belivable.

One hell of anexpensive photograph - and you could only find a one dollar note?
07/23/2003 11:21:32 AM
should have showed the user's nose instead. Powdered sugar I hope is what you used. Doesn't do much for me you lost to much of the dollar into darkness on the edge of the photo.

The color tone is great. The compostion couldn't be better :)

a hundred dollar bill and some stuff that would have looked more like Coke would have made a diffrent...

Wasn't the idea to use a larger bill, like a 20 or 100, to show your affluence? Anyway, sadly, it works for a trend (I sure hope that power's a prop). I think that, given the "cocain" is supposed to be the trend, the focus would be better on it, or at least with a wider DOF. The bill is definitely very sharp and crisp. Lighting and composition are great. Good job.
