Hey Buzz, don't know if you'r checking in regularly, but I was just browsing through my old "favorite photographers" list to see if anyone from the old CPAUG gang had done anything lately here and ran across this. I was shocked when I saw the score it got. This is a great action shot, and I think the "parts" framing really makes it an interesting photo.

Now THAT'S wind. :) Nice capture. Not sure about the b&w treatment. The background and sky look a bit flat and washed out. The kite does stand out well though.

Looks more like she's just leaning back than there's really wind going through her hair. It just ends up looking a little "bride of frankenstein". And the background's pretty dull too.

I think it might have been really interesting if the label of the can were completely obscured or in shadow. Its just a tiny bit distracting. Otherwise, the focus is drawn well to the subject. I like the composition. The exposure is good.

Anyone For Opera?

Assuming this is the Sidney Opera House, you get an extra point for finding a view other than the obvious. A little deepening of the blue in the sky might have made it stand out a littel better though.
