I like that you found a different angle from the mainstream - tough with that and the coathanger since they have been done to death. Makes me a little home sick also, which makes a good pic when somebody else gets meaning out of it.

Love the shape and simplicity, just whish the sky were a deeper blue (or maybe just go B&W and pump up the contrast on the sky?)

This works wonderfully as a geometric abstract. Excellent composition. It might be a real killer to with sunset/sunrise light on the dome, but it works very well as is. One of my picks for a ribbon in this challenge. Good luck.

I love the lines and curves. Lighting is great along with focus. It is amazing how you can see the tiles, at first it made me think it was out of focus but with a second look i could see it was individual tiles I was seeing. I also like the crop. Title tells me the landmark and your crop leaves the mind open to imagination. Great Job!

Greatshot of the Opera house. The perspective is very original. The pattern of the tiles provides some interesting detail in this shot. I was in sydney at this time about two years ago for a breif visit. It wasthe most amazing city I have ever been to I cant wait for a chance to go back.

Too much of a geometric photo for me. It's clean but I'm going to call it avg. Sorry.

I was sooo going to take this shot, but was unable to get into town at the right time of the day
I had invissioned the shot with a slight different angle making the sails wider and shorter with more sky
I think this would be improved by saturating it more and bosting contrast... was the shot taken in the middle of the day? as it seems a little flat with very even midday sun, try this again just on sunset to get more shadow/deffintion in the curves of the sails +7

Assuming this is the Sidney Opera House, you get an extra point for finding a view other than the obvious. A little deepening of the blue in the sky might have made it stand out a littel better though.

I like that you have attempted to come at it from a different angle... this looks a little washed out though. Maybe another time of day would work better.

The Sydney Opera house...one of the most photographed landmark in the world. Well done, maybe waiting for dusk would have added some colours to the white roof.
