Great facial expression and the use of a deep DOF is very functional here. I am not too fond of the POV though. The high angle makes the head look extra large. Furthermore, there seems to be a halo around the head.

Funny and technically well done. I am not too thrilled with the composition though, would have liked the phone closer to the woman to avoid the large open space above the phone. Also not too fond of the brown on black, but these are fairly minor issues.

Great expression from the kid and I like how grandpa is still recognizable. I am a bit bothered by the large number of distractions all over the pic, giving it a snapshottish feel. Especially the white/blue bottle (?) in the upper right corner is distracting. I also think the crop is just too tight below. Nevertheless, a nice pic.

The pic seems to be shaken and is fairly noisy. It has several pixelations, probably due to overprocessing or local overexposure. It also seems that the pic has a reddish cast, implying that your white balance is off.

It seems to me you tried to take a pic under conditions that your camera is not fit for. In this specific case, you might have used a tripod (or stack of books) to allow for a longer shutter time (@lower ISO), to get ridd of the shake and noise. You may adjust the white balance either in camera or in pp. Wish you more luck next time.

I think it is a nice still life and it does in fact contain texture. Nevertheless I think it would have fitted the challenge better if texture were the main subject of your picture. (6)
