Deluxe Combo from the Fat Guyby loveComment: Some nice irony in there. :) I like the diagonal and 'expression' on santa's face, but I would have liked to see a ittle more depth (through DOF, lighting or composition) in the picture. |

This wasn't on my list!by Chappie23Comment: In the darker days of the year, many photogs turn to artificial light, and not everyone of us has the money (or financial priority) to buy strobes or sophisticated flashes. Now, the onboard flash of the camera seems to come in handy. But they don't. Onboard flashes kill pictures: they create shiny skins and hars shadows. Your pic suffers from theze features as well. There are simple, cheap and fairly effective ways to handle this, for instance by putting a tissue in front of the flash to soften and diffuse the light. Other techniques to soften or reflect light may be helpfull too. |

I got a carton...by zbill1Comment: The moralism in this pic is likely to affect your score, but I bet you won't care. I like the execution of the shot. It's well-lit and the transition from smoke to skull looks failry natural. The big empty black space is functional as well. I have two minor issues with this pic: I think it is strange that the sigaret just hangs there and I think the pic would have been more convincing if the sigaret was burned only halfway. |

Its the thought that countsby jasonlpriceComment: Nice idea and overall well executed. Nothing exciting in terms of composition though and the wrapping paper is clearly used before, reducing the credibility of the pic. |

"The Super Dooper Reindeer Pooper!"by LonzComment: Great expression and the look up combined with the level POV works well. The picture is not entirely sharp @ the eyes and it seems you tried just a tad too hard to save it with USM, but the expression makes up for that. |

Oh, to be aged 7-12 again.by McJamweaselComment: That is NOT a stupid gift, it is ultimately cool. ;)
Love the focus on the little guy in the front, but I am not enthousiastic about the distracting background and the harsh ligting. I think you show that you have it in you to be a creative photographer, but you should devote more attention to the execution of your pics. |
