hmmm, I'm afraid I don't get it. It probably has to do with ice floating where it should not, but I don't see the relation to the challenge. No vote.

Nice pic though, like the composition. It could have used a little more dark tones and a little more saturation to make it stand out more.

Maybe I am wrong about what an environmental portraoit should contain. IMO, this is a guy holding a musical instrument in a non-musical environment (jail? something industrial?) To me, that is not an environmental portrait, it's a portrait with relevant props.

As a musisician's portrait I like it though. John will probably be happy with it.
