Dancing with Cowsby messerschmittComment: Excellent photo. Has a distortion of scale, and a bizareness of composition and organisation of subject that I really enjoy. Marvellous toning, too. Lovely work. |

Creepby NiteseadComment: I enjoy this almost as much for its sheer contrast to the rest of these images as for itself. Can't imagine I'll come back to it much, but it breaks up the show nicely. |

Past and Presentby brizmamaComment: Fun - especially catching them airborne. The foreground ... ? Sure, it adds some depth, but perhaps it might have been darkened more to draw the eye a little less. |

Arwaby XileboComment: Good spirit, good moment. A little flattened by the flash perhaps, but its a nice portrait. |

Stripesby spydrComment: Strong detail and toning - and the orange makes a real difference from the usual green for this kind of shot. The less bokeh'd leaves in the background will proably be pointed out as a distraction by some - I'm unsure, but they certainly add a dynamic that works somewhat against the lines of the rest of the image. |

Do you want to dance with me?by zaflaboutComment: I'd really love this if it weren't for the selective de-sat: sure, they have red dresses - but is that really the strong point of this image? For me, it detracts entirely from the strange interactions of the dancers, the falseness in some of those smiles, the leering, the sense of slight desperation. Red dresses are completely incidental, I think. |

Kyotoby nfesselComment: Somehow, I think you might have made more of the similarities between the lily pads and the stones. Those variations on a theme of circles might an add an element that I think is missing otherwise - in that this, whilst well toned, quite nicely composed (I have reservations about the left-hand stone) depends purely on those stones for its impact, and that is maybe not enough alone? |

I Can Block the Sun with my Handby xianartComment: I rather like this: that hand, of course, but more perhaps the sheer graininess of it. There are sophisticated parallels of lines - the boarding, the boy's fingers, the shadow fingers. There's something more than a simple snapshot - or perhaps I mean that there's something about certain snapshots that sometimes works on more levels - that escapes the derogatory meaning of 'snapshot'. Lovely work - and I hope I'm not the only one to notice. |

She Movesby TommyMoe21Comment: I would maybe have considered a black and white for this - it would emphasise the movement rather than the colour, which - especially those circular patterns on her dress - really draw the eye strongly, and given their distortion, surely detract from the otherwise pleasing impact of that movement. |

Sugar & Spice & All Things Nice...by btuckComment: Good toning. The crop feels a touch close on the side of frame she's looking toward, maybe; perhaps that's just that you've placed her face too far off the strong line. |
