Winter Mistsby margiemuComment: Good exposure. Could perhaps use a touch more thought around the composition - almost parallel, almost diagonal, and the single tree at bottom of image seems ignored. |

Leader of the Packby jeroweComment: Strange artefacts, either from smoothing or processing generally - make the image seem odd to my eye. Not the happiest composition - too many bits of other animals emerging from behind the ones we can see. |

Colors in the Countryby JEFFJSBComment: The red key-line is discomforting - seems only to emphasise the more pale colours in your composition. I think a touch more contrast would help - it seems to have a narrow dynamic range. |

Curiosityby KonadorComment: Excellent framing, and I like the implicit softness of it. Effective for what it is. |

A few minutes before sunsetby PascalComment: Perhaps a shame you couldn't have framed the big boat and the little more happily - as it stands, the container ship looks like an accidental inclusion. Quite effective light, though perhaps use of colour only serves to make the scene look washed out, where black and white would emphasise the shapes more. |

Trafalgar Square by Nightby redmoonComment: Composition seems forced - why have the fountain so close to the column, and yet have so much remaining space either side? If you'd separated them so that they were placed more independently in frame you'd surely have a more satisfying image, no? I'm not aware of anything that would be more distracting than your current background if you did that ... Nicely done exposure wise though, but that isn't enough to overcome the compositional problem. |

Town Councilby MichaelCComment: Well, although I'd personally have done some work to straighten this - the only partially tilted horizon line seems more of an accident than a useful element - this is a lovely shot. Political commentary is all! |
