Sunset Flightby Pug-HComment: Nice shot, but what happened to the bottom right hand corner? |

Unorthodox in Natureby BradComment: I look at this and think 'where is the neon sign?', which probably isn't fair to you at all... |

What Remains are Shadowsby pixelpigComment: This is a nice idea - the interplay of the positive space (the stem) with the negative space (the shadow of the petals). I wonder if the petals could have been lit to make them disappear, so that only the shadow gave them away... Could the stamen have been included in the shot?
Anyway, nice picture, that doesn't do one corner to the other as the diagonal. |

another day end in my lifeby whiterookComment: I'm not sure here, is the diagonal element the horizon or the surfline? The big grey expanse of water in the middle doesn't do much. |

Daddy's Girlby aimeethetooComment: Nice eye contact between subjects. No distracting background behind the heads, and nothing is lost by using monochrome. |

Fencedby dtlightComment: I suppose the foreground building is a public institution, and the fence is to keep the public out of it, but what is the building in the background for? Some depth of field to lose the background building and some morning or afternoon sun to pickup the foreground building would be nice, otherwise this is a fairly somber photo (which may be desirable also!) |
