lovely, serene shot. i remember the first time I shot Velvia - and then proceeded to shoot little else for months afterward. the super-saturation/-contrast is still very addictive, and I love the colors you got above. funny how when I shot film, I generally kept looking for higher contrast/saturation, low grain films, and now that I predominately shoot digital I've fallen in love with low-contrast polaroids and chunky-grain black and white film.

Really nice happy accident. The combination of images has a very intended feel to it, even so. I'm sure you could drive a group of MFAs giddy analyzing your artistic intent and vision here. (Just don't mention that the film stopped spooling for bit, and turn them loose.)

Those call boxes are distinctly odd - in a good way. The fog, the asphalt, and the unkempt foliage really give this a post-apocalyptic/Day of the Dead feel. I like it.

I'm with Germaine - it is the guy just disappearing into the fog on the right that makes this shot. Adds a real sense of isolation and disconnection. Love, love, love fog.
