Day 8 - The San Antonio Riverwalkby SandyPComment: Excellent little glimpse of your home city. It is so nice when a community has people who understand the value of a project like this that will attract outsiders as well as benefit the local people at all levels.
I hope that the waterway will be extended to include the "Pearl" . It seems that "Riverwalk" is like having a linear park thru town. I have heard of it before. |

Wall Artby RetroesqueComment: Very nice job of making something out of not too much. I like the artsy item to begin with, and you have made it into a plesant image all your own making. |

Where Photos Go To Die!by yetiComment: It's almost too tidy there. Mine is a mess, but it's a happy mess. Like your sterio vision computer set up.
Good title too. |

DAY 8 . where i live . menangle roadby rozComment: You put some good ideas into this one. I like the script, and the staggered images.
Glad that you survived the down time without running out of memory for your camera. |

the new bookstoreby jdannelsComment: I like the way the clouds look in this one. It is extra cool how they sweep up the slant in the dark building on the right. The great reflection makes it double cool. Good capture, and excellent PP. |

Day 7 - Wacker Aveby meyersComment: The shadows and reflections are a good part of what makes this interesting. It seems strange to me that so many people would want to live in little boxes like that. I did it when I was twenty something, and it was fun for a while, but I missed the country life a lot. |

Shem Creek Shrimp Boatsby RedDotComComment: Nice low angle for this shot. Were you in a boat when you got it? I miss the water front this time of year. I can't wait till summer to get back to fishing. Good image, esp, the low angle helps. |

Soleilby xianartComment: The lens flare is a bit of a distraction, and could be cropped or cloned out, but I guess you knew that before posting it.
I am impressed with the elements of the angular house, the bright spot sun, the little lone cloud, and esp the way the shadow mirrors the house.
I wish a lot of houses would disappear from here in S W Florida, but they are all new ones. : P
It's way too cold where you are living. |

_DSC3866_day7.JPGby griz210Comment: They just opened a "Bass Pro" store in the next town from here. It is a store on the same order. It's like a big "Redneck Toys'R'us" store, and has all the same kinds of fixtures and displays. It is a fun place to spend some time window shopping to see what's new. |

Day 4 Goose Creek Lakeby UNCLEBROComment: That is a serene scene! I think that we all enjoy these, as we don't have to get up early and brave the cold to see them. I like the way reflections are a lot clearer in the mornings when the water is still. |
