Cats have some of the most intense expressions of any animal. This is an excellent image as the subject is in great focus, and very sharp in detail. The exposure is right on too, as all the detail in the fur is easy to make out. I often shoot all manual, esp brids, which are so easy to overexpose. It seems to be a bit of a challenge to shoot all manual, but very rewarding to see the results when everyting is right.

That was a beautiful sunrise Ray. I can identify 4 of the shapes balloons as being the same ones that I saw at Abq. Balloon Fiesta in N M. You were in a good location to capture the scene from a pleasing elevation.

Excellent sky shot. Sometimes the elements just get right for this effect, but not often.
Including some of the ground in the foreground would have been nice, but not necessary, as you may have been in town at the time.
