ascensionby AliciaComment: The crossing lines make a good abstract with this image. The title fits the way it looks too. |

Day-16-Hollands Delight.jpgby JerseyGenieComment: Classy edge treatment. Whatever you did, it turned out very nice and artsy.
It is interesting that this looks like an ordinary, sharp image in the thumb, and opens up into this fuzzy "just right" one. Message edited by author 2007-08-15 23:48:44. |

Pool Blurby KatmystiryComment: Truly in the summer spirit. Good shot, using the zoom to isolate the primary subject so well. I think I would title it "Kid Vision" : ) |

The Stratby jdannelsComment: Nice axe, and great perspective with the super wide. I did a similar shot outside in the grass with a round hole acoustic 12 string, and put the reflection of a palm tree centered in the head of the guitar, between the posts of the tuning keys.
I like the barroom connection in this shot with the music and pool. It seems like there should be a cigarette in there somewhere, or at least some smoke, but I don't guess it is that prominent now days. 30 years ago when my band played barrooms, you wouldn't even be able to see the far end of the guitar neck for all the smoke LOL . |

Featherby DKMRancidNOFXComment: I like the point of view, the tilt, the detail in the near part of the feather, and the color in this image. |

day12.jpgby MadMan2kComment: This looks a lot like a mirror shot, with the cat watching you and the camera. Interesting, and tricky. That 1.3 sec is a long exposure to get the cat to hold still for. |

Missingby levyj413Comment: I think that the shadow not being the most predominant element of this image got it the lower score, and also, voters seem to tend to give better scores to images that they find pleasant to view. This strikes a chord with me. Powerful image, with good thought going into the setup. I like the way you brought the photo in the image into strong focus with the available light. The "fuzz" works too, and adds to the "depressed" effect. |
