IMG_4596-flowerheadby Bear_MusicComment: So far so good! I hope you get many years of enjoyment and a lot of great photos from your new "eye on the world". A good macro lens makes the hunt for good photos a much shorter trip. |

_DSC0128-copy-pink-daisy-sfwby The EskimoComment: The f38 giving the overall focus makes this different, because there are not a lot of daisy macro shots with the entire image in focus. I could never get one to be that still for 1/2 sec. A little tinker with levels and contrast might give this a bigger impact for most people. I like the subdued, not over saturated look. |

Eat Your Greens?by jomariComment: Your little bowls and your choices for background paper colors are making a very pleasing series out of your berries and veges series. |

Lily Pilyby jomariComment: They look like something that would be good with a bit of sugar and some whipped cream. That's a cute little bowl. The light is great for this shot. |

Tulip ~ soocby JustDuckyComment: We do not have tulips here in S W Florida, because it never gets cold enough for them to bloom. It's nice to get a good close look at the inside of this one. I like the way the black part elevates the contrast so that the stamen show up better. Nature is wonderful, and your macro shooting talent is pretty good too. |

by JustDuckyComment: The subject and depth of field work nicely in this shot. I feel that I would have cropped some left, and maybe bottom to put the primary subject in the lower "third" intersection. There is not much going on in the left side that adds to the story of the image.
I like the way you treated the color in this, so that it's not over saturated. Having the water there was a lucky stroke for this shot. There are some of these in the garden at one of the places were I work. |
