I like the concept but, it makes the picture more about the blue "keyhole" and doesn't really allow enough "photography" so to speak. The focus around it makes it seem like it was "painted" in during editing, rather than actually photographing the keyhole cut-out. Not sure if I explained that fully enough to understand????

lovely idea of seeing the orchid bud, coming into bloom but, I'm sure you've heard this already, the focus seems off on more than the bloom. That may have been what you intended but, it seems that the out of focus area is too large an area in the foreground and makes the focused area seem unfocused as well. Perhaps, having focused the entire foreground subject may have made this more eyecatching?

very subtle, "inside out". Had to think about it for a moment there but, "got it"! :) It somehow lacks some "pizzazz". Perhaps, it's the angle? Perhaps, had this been shot more from a side view as opposed to an overhead??? Not sure what to suggest here. It's just that it somehow isn't a "grabbing" picture though, well shot.

I like the concept and the colours but, something is amiss. It may be that the unfocused portion of this shot is too much. It really isn't considered a flattering dof to this particular shot but, the concept is good.

Really artsy and a lovely set up and shot. I'd love to have seen the mask holes a little larger to reveal more of the image being focused on. I think that the holes close off the photo just a bit too much but, really a nice piece of artistic work! 7
