Light from the Shadowsby SandyPComment: I like the editing style on this. The subject has been photographed to death but, it's your editing that really makes this shot! |

in a sunny doorwayby JutildaComment: This just really captures this dog's essence/spirit! I really love the shadows and contrasts. I'm sure that you're going to get comments about it being softer focus, or not enough contrast etc.. but I really think you have a fabulous capture!!! It emotes something from the viewer and in my mind...worthy of a 9! |

bearded warrior by rozComment: Really clear macro, lovely color...should do well in here as lots of voters seem to love the macro bug shots and this is particularly well done. |

Life is good !by remboComment: Not quite sure on how you did this ie: whether you're just fabulous with capturing action or, there's a lot of editing done here but, this really is a fabulous shot! The only thing that has me wondering is the idea that there's no trace of a shadow or reflection beneath the main subject...hmmmm...has me thinking! *smile* Can't wait to find out how you did this. Hats off to you if you are this wonderful at capturing action with this low a light and in that exact position!!!! I love this shot. 8 |

In winter's cold lightby digifotojoComment: I love the reflection of the sunlight on the icy water. I also like the contrast between the life of the trees and the death of the ice and yet, that the sunlight is what keeps life going. Quite deep! I so hope that other voters see all of this in this shot and not bypass these details! |

I think, therefore I amby swallaceComment: Don't you wonder WHAT they think about? I'll bet it's not the stock market! LOL
Really cute shot with great texture captured in this one's fur. I'm wondering if perhaps, it might have too much space around it but, then again, the background is pretty interesting. |
