Pie Are Squared (πr²)by ClubJuggleComment: A square pie: fun and clever. I really think the round plate behind adds to this image a lot by referring to pi's function in circle building. It seems just a little out of focus. |

pi for pi (zza)by shutterflyComment: Interesting and fascinating image. It's as if the pi cutter measures pi much as pi measures a circle. Well, maybe anyway. It could probably be clearer if that's your goal. If not, It is an interesting and fascinating image. |

π rSourby justineComment: After all these pies, this looks like a real treat! A clever punny image. It is probably just a tad out of focus and a little washed. |

Red White and Blue Piby rcrawfordComment: Pi on pie. An interesting visual pun at work here. The pie looks delicious, but I'm still wanting more of a communication of pi than just its symbol on a dessert. I'd like something here to let me in pi's secrets or uses. Knowwhatimean? |

Hi-Tech Piby tcherringComment: Wonderful composition and arrangement of the disks. The background is interesting, too. My main question is this: Certainly pi helps to make circles, but do circles in and of themselves mean pi? The radial reflections help, but I'm still just a tad unconvinced. Still, very engaging and pleasing image. |

Alpha, Pi, Omegaby EJComment: Fascinating photo. I've looked at it long and hard now. I can see pi represented in the candles' circles, and it is also in your title, but the connection isn't quite convincing to me. However, being a religious man, I like to think that we can find God everywhere, even in pi. Even if I wasn't a religious man, I think this is still an interesting communication. |

Vessel Of Potteryby TarbiniComment: A very pleasing image with the earthy colors. You not only give me a hint of pi, you also show us an interesting object. It's a tad out of focus, or perhaps just needs a greater DOF. My main question is: Pi makes circles, but do circles necessarily mean pi? |

Apple Piby GekkerComment: Whew! Almost did a very similar image! I don't know if you meant this, but the apples being round enhance the "pi-ness" of the image. Nice lighting and focus, too. |

Pizza Piby sherComment: A very scientific pizza! Fun idea and a clever visual pun, and that's where it goes for me. Seems slightly out of focus. |

Circles and Circlesby nathaliedooComment: Really intriguing. Pi certainly has to do with circles, though I wish there was a clearer or perhaps more overt connection or dissection. Difficult to communicate: though pi has everything to do with circles, circles don't necessarily mean pi and something telling me that these circles were communicating strictly pi would help this image meet the challenge better. Still, I like it and give it good marks. |
