NorthernShrike_3969by hahn23Comment: Butcher bird! One of my favorites. Have only seen a northern once, and not for not trying. That was before my camera carrying days unfortunately. I'd kill to get a shot of a shrike of either variety while it's eating. |

To the leftby EnlightenedComment: American Tree Sparrow? It's quite difficult to get a good shot of birds, especially ones that tend towards shyness like these. The DOF is spot on and the brown tones work well to make it stand out. |
