Yesterday's Jazz Todayby CharleneComment: A title that makes the schoolboy side of me giggle and giggle (and which is far to saucy to explain).
Fantastic duotone, that makes me feel like I have stepped back in time to the 1960's
I love the effect that the lighting has created here. It is almost simultaneous low and high key
Great shot |

Left Behindby EstimatedEyesComment: Lovely composition and duotone conversion. Perhaps a little to heavy on the added noise but still a good shot |

Threatening by aberrationComment: Wow great photo which almost has a steinbeck-esque quality. I love the perspective and the clouds are fabulous
Super duetone conversion - 9 from me |

At restby nico_blueComment: Beautiful duotome study, I like the crispness and serenity of the shot. A couple of wonderful little touches. The sharpness of the tree on the right and the fact that the mast of the boat looks like it is reflected to the left (which I appreciate is actually another boat) as well as in the excellent reflection)
Very nice shot |

Halloween (1978)by bassboneComment: Peter
Well many congrats on the high finish and replacing you 'fun' halloween shot on your profile with much darker one
I love the overexposed background behind michael myers, from your notes this had been the bit that had concerned you before the shoot but I have to say you nailed it 100%
It made me laugh that you scared the snot out of your wife, but I have to confess that if you had jumped out at me like that I would have been less than happy
Great homage to a film that scared the beejesus out of me when I first saw it

The Coming Stormby KarenNfldComment: Very nice B&W conversion with an amazing skyline (if you ever get time you really should do a tutorial on dodging and burning clouds for us newbies)
Such cool leading lines as well

Built in 1897by KarenNfldComment: Karen,
Picture postcard beautiful. It looks like the same tower from that great s-curve challenge entry.
Love the difference in colouring in the sky and the contrast of the ancient tower and the blazing city lights
As ever fantastic sharpness and dof
I did spot Waldo, but only because I was looking for him
