If Fences Could Be Bridgesby colorcarnivalComment: Cool cool cool shot and one of my absolute favourites in the challenge.
I love the fact that when you first see the image it really does look like you have captured a car framed through a hole in a fence and it is only when you look at it more closely you realise it is a toy
Brillant sharpness and great bokeh in one, lovely black and white conversion.
An image that I cant tear my eyes away from
Wonderful and although you have scored higher in many challenges imo this is one of your best shots.

High Class Fencingby kellyrc01Comment: Kelly!!!!!!
welcome back to the wonderful world of DPC Voters...Did ya miss the people who give 4's and belows to pictures to make themselves feel superior!!!
I like the slightly skewed angle that you used on the fence here as it creates a really cool leading diagonal line
Nice dof as well which allows people to see so of the lovely metalwork even better |

dancing dropletsby rozComment: Wow, what a super image and thank you not onlt for it but for the description of how the water was suspended (which now I know seems obvious, but didnt before hand)
I love the dof you used which creates a seamless move from pinpoint sharpness to gentle blur
Cool idea fantastically executed |

Mother and Child Reunionby BAMartinComment: What a great picture and I am stunned it scored so low (especially when I see some of the ones that beat it)
You have pulled off a great trick here, not only about the moment in time that you have caught which is priceless, but also by the fact that you have combined a really strong sharpness in the shot (look at the mothers tongue) whilst still keeping the softness of the fur (especially on the kitten which I just want to reach out and touch)
Wonderful |

A Pilot's Moment of Reflectionby todbedyComment: Very nice portrait and the capture of the jet in the sunglasses is a n excellent touch which really enhances it in terms of the challenge. Not 100% sure of the B&W conversion which seems a little soft for the subject matter and which perhaps lacks a touch of pop
Still a good image - 7 |

Inspiredby Ragga2000Comment: Nice traditional boxing pose which no doubt the subject will love. The Ali poster adds a very nice touch. the ring ropes are a lot more subtle (in fact I wonder whether every one will see them) but again serve to add to the environment. Strong BW conversion - 8 |

Frankie. Painter & Decoratorby MAKComment: Wooooah. A photo that just stops you in your tracks, great use of fish eye to create a really interesting portrait. Outstanding sharpness and nice splash of colour as well
If I am being picky perhaps I would have liked to either see more tools of the trade or him to have more paint splashes, but still an excellent 8 (for the moment I may be back to bump up) |

sparksby GordonComment: Ooooooo...Great take on the challenge, brilliant composition and fantastic colours...unfortunately (imo) the focus seems just a touch soft (a bit tighter and I think it would have been the blue ribbon winner)
Still a very strong image congratulations |

In His Elementby alanfreedComment: Interestingly even as a Brit my first temptation was to think 'oh no not another shot of the democratic candidate...seen him a million times' but then when you stop to think about it this is a phenomenal photo for DPC. Outstanding sharpness and proximity, great colours and without a shadow of a doubt meets the challenge as well as any other photo. I hope you dont suffer from voter fatigue (political rather than DPC). An out and out 10 from me
