Well expect the worse because toys generally bomb in DPC Challenges, but I have to say the wonderful humour of this shot absolutely makes it for me. I cant look at this image without giggling and that can only be a great reaction to cause in someone, Yep there are some technical bits and pieces that could be possibly tightened up but its an 8 from me

So, I'm naked, in a bathroom, and my head is swelling up like a balloon...

The weird thing about this shot is that when I looked at it without reading the description I actually thought that they were pencils and rulers (In fact I was about to say to you '$16:60 for a pencil??? You are having a laugh!!!!!' Then I looked again and it all became clear (no pun intended)

Nice shot and top men both Greg (for supporting you in public) and the store keeper for recognising your addiction

i really liked the sepia version but this just blows it away

That crashing wave is stupendous, the colours leap right at you and it has a wonderful sheen to it which is completely complimented by the red and black of the ship on the horizon

The sky is stunning and the fact that the clouds are virtually touching it adds both colours and brilliant shadows to the mountain side

Those claws are vicious (and fantastically captured) the eyes (brilliant colour and focus) are demonic

The shale background works superbly against the softer pastels of the fur

There are always some great shots in a free study but this is just completely outstanding. Beautiful colours and a wonderful other
world-y feel to it. I guess I can understand why some people prefer different shots (though for me this was top 10 minimum) what I cant understand is how this 'only' scored 6.4436, because if that isnt a 7 then I dont know what is.
