Wow fantastic macro and great centred composition. Many congratulations on getting so much subtle colour into what is essentially a white shot

Incredible vista and the fact that it is able to stop me in my tracks in a free study speaks volumes for the quality of this image

Wonderous sky and great composition with an absolutely outstanding black and white conversion

Oh my word, if this is taken by who I think it is taken then all I can say is that you saved the best iceberg shot till last.

This is absolutely wondrous, such simple beauty and majesty, incredible curves on the berg and I love the three colours, the white of the iceberg, the aquamarine of the berg below the water level and the darkness of the water that surrounds it (which bizarrely looks even colder than the iceberg itself)

Such strong lines, such an incredible photograph.

The highest compliment I can pay this shot is that I would love to have it framed in my house, and if it was taken by who I think it might have been taken by it would be an honour if you would sign a copy of the print when you come to the UK before I had it framed (My only doubt is that I saw the person I thought it was saying they were scoring under a six in the forums which if true would be a travesty)

One of my two favourite ever shots on DPC

10 and straight to favourites

Yaaaaay congratulations on the very high finish but more importantly the GREAT image.

Yes it is dappled enough and given the play of light and dark it is amazing that you have got such sharpness throughout the image

Such a strong balck and white conversion with great tonal ranges.

I think ayear ago this would have scored nearer 7 than 6, but unfortunately that is the way that voting seems to have gone recently

Great great shot

Oh wow....I cant believe I never commented on this shot.

I guess because we spoke about it before you know my views but let me reiterate, this is beautiful

I love the foreground sharpness and the gentle bokeh of the blooms in the background

As ever, your black and white conversion is stunning, such strong tonal ranges

Wonderful

Hey If I am right then the Icebergs are still floating in BC. Very nice image (you know that icebergs impress me anyway). Love the triangulation of the shot and the red/cyan white mix on the points of the triangle

Great POV

6.18??? 6.18!!!!

For goodness sake what does a person have to do to get a score that reflects the beauty of a picture on DPC nowadays

This is an amazing capture, such beauty and delicacy

I love the motion blur on the wings and the tail which is wonderful in comparision to the stillness of the head and beak

As much as this bird brought you happiness on the day that you took your photo, looking at the image has probably given me more pleasure

Wonderful

Gorgeous reds on the flower heads and I love the muted reflection in the 'spilt' water

Very nice composition and application of the rule of thirds although I would have liked to see the top of the tulip on the right

I love the capture of the petal edge
