The Rockby p2jvrComment: wow this place looks really cool :o)
The sky looks a little bit overexposed in places which could probably be fixed with a bit of tweaking in photoshop. I like the reflections but it would have been nice if they were a little stronger but i guess this was not possible with the ripples in the water. Overall though i like it |

Storm Treeby adeldeganComment: nice idea but the way it's been editted in photoshop makes it look really fake and not necessarily in a good way.
The sky is okay but where it joins the rock on the right hand side does not look right, almost as if you have cut the rock out and stuck it over the top of the sky, and there is a fair amount of purple along the edges of the rock and branches which i'm sure is not meant to be there? |

Wagon in the Westby puckinComment: Hmmmm i could imagine this would have been a very hard image to capture, especially with all the snow and reflection around, so technically you've done really well. There is only one thing that lets this down IMO and that is the background, it is simply too dark and too busy which detracts from the cart itself and means it doesn't stand out as much as it could. If anything it would have been better if there was more snow covering the dark rocks in the background then the brown cart would have been against a white background and it would have stood out a lot more. |

Kentucky Stairwellby beamsclanComment: I'm scared of heights and it's a loooong way down!
Nice perspective. My only criticism would be based on the lighting, in some places it is just too blown out, especially at the bottom of the stairs where the light coming through the window is reflecting on the floor.
But overall I like it :o) |

Simplicityby admart01Comment: very minimalistic!
I like the use of the grey dull background to put all the empthasis on the flower, it really makes it stand out and becomes the main focal point which i'm sure is what you set out to achieve.
If i had to make one criticism it would be the fact that there is too much dead space, although i'm not sure cropping would have helped in this case as I like the fact the buds are in the picture too. Perhaps taking this from a different angle would help to tighten things up a bit? Just my 2 cents. :o) |

Take-Offby cpanaiotiComment: great timing to grab this shot but there is too much empty space on the right hand side and would perhaps benefit from being cropped slightly?
It is a shame the little fella is flying away from you and not towards you as it would have been great to see the face and not the bum lol |

Goldfinchby DrakeComment: you've done really well to capture this but could have benefitted from being a little bit sharper.
Also i'm not sure what the white line is to the left of the twig going up, but it's quite distracting - the good news is it can be easily cloned out on Photoshop :o)
I just hope it's not a scratch on your lens? |
