Love it! This truly fulfills the challenge of capturing an image that CELEBRATES life. There were some incredible images in this challenge that I would normally give a 10 to, but which lacked the celebrational aspect. Yours nailed it. I hope you ribbon. Really nice! I hope you ribbon. Unlike some other pics of animals that were also technically superb, this one distinguishes itself by meeting the "celebratory" requirement of the challenge through, in this case, the image of the older human hands cradling the new life in a protective way. For me, the gentle protection equates to value which implies celebration. Very nice. One of very few 10s I'm giving this time.

Incredible shot. Love the colors and the crisp clarity - especially in the water beads. I would score it a 10 if it were not for my inability to really see a celebratory aspect to it.
